and all the best for 2019 from everyone in the Municipal Law Department at Schindlers.
To start the year off on a positive note, we confirm that we have received confirmation in writing from COJ’s Valuations Department that it has applied to the MEC for condonation to allow members of the public who missed the deadline to appeal their outcomes to their unsuccessful (or partially successful) 2018 GV objections (because their notices were posted to them and received after the deadline for filing) to file their appeals late.
If this condonation is granted, affected parties will be given an extension for the filing of their appeal. We don’t know yet what those extensions will look like but we will report further when we receive an update.
