Release of the November 2020 Financial Stability Review on Tuesday, 24 November 2020
The Financial Stability Review (FSR) will be released on Tuesday, 24 November 2020 at 12:00. The presentation on the FSR, which is normally delivered at the Financial Stability Forum meeting, will be hosted virtually and therefore no physical media lock-up will take place prior to the presentation.
Members of the media who would like to have access to the FSR and the presentation, under embargo, ahead of its publication on the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) website are requested to send letters from their editors stating their request and that they will observe the embargo. The strictly embargoed content will be sent at 10:00 to only those journalists who confirmed that they will connect to the briefing and sent letters. The embargo lifts at 12:00.
Media will also be able to join the release and register to pose written questions to panel members via the webcast https://www.corpcam.com/SARB24112020. The SARB invites journalists to submit initial questions on the FSR and/or the presentation to Ziyanda Mtshali at [email protected] no later than 11:30.
The presentation will also be streamed live on the SARB’s Facebook and YouTube accounts, and submitted questions will be responded to after the presentation. The FSR and the presentation will be available on the SARB website from 12:00 when the MPR embargo lifts.
For any questions, please contact Ziyanda Mtshali in the SARB Media Office at 078 143 0553.
