For this event we are honoured to be joined by Nyimpini Mabunda, who will discuss his book “Take Charge’ on the lessons he learned from his childhood in an apartheid-era homeland to the CEO’s office at one of the world’s best-known businesses – General Electric (where he is the MD of GE Southern Africa).
He will also share the lessons learnt along a career spanning Procter & Gamble, Nando’s, Diageo, Boston Consulting Group, Vodacom in South Africa, the UK and Uganda, on how to succeed in your career as well as to build and lead a business.
The programme will be as follows:
08h00-08h30 – Registration and breakfast
08h30-08h50 – Coffee table Chat – in an interactive discussion, Patrick Ache will ask Nyimpini questions about his journey as set out in his book and the lessons to be drawn from it
08h50-09h00 – Q&A
09h00-09h15 – Small Group discussions about what you learnt from the speaker and how you could apply it in your life and business
09h15-09h25 – Introductions, Tips & Links (networkers introduce what they do and can ask each other for advice, i.e. a tip, or an introduction, i.e. a link)
09h25-09h30 – Wrap-up and end.
