  1. EE Amendment Act, 2020 – Gazette 14 April 2023 (2 hours).
  • Whether your Entity is still deemed designated for EE, and the compliance requirements.
  • What we know about the Amendment, the Regulations yet to be promulgated and POSSIBLE future dates of promulgation.
  • Whether the EE Amendment Act (and the impact thereof, including inspections, is enforced as from 14 April 2023.
  • Annual EE certification for BOTH designated AND non-designated employers.
  • Possible impact on your BBBEE scorecard.
  • Sectoral targets already consulted on (National Development Plan, 2030).
  • Whether your current EE Plan may be null and void (cancelled) and POSSIBLE date thereof.
  • Possible changes to DEL online portal (additional administrative compliance requirements).
  • Justifiable reasons to be considered for failure to comply with annual EE targets.
