The 8th Annual Buy Local Summit & Expo promotes an understanding of the role procurement decision makers have in contributing to South Africa’s economic growth through the uptake of local products and services.
Day 1 comprises a series of workshops for SMMEs on navigating the red tape and legislation required to establish a fully compliant business as well as presentations on business support, access to markets and other tips.
Day 2’s presentations and panel discussions will follow the theme of ‘Localisation through investment led re-industrialisation’ and will look into the role both the private sector and government have to play in promoting the Buy Local Movement.
The Exhibition showcases many Proudly SA member companies, from local representatives of global brands to small artisans and provides a platform for business-to-business marketing. The Exhibition runs over two days with an opportunity to shop for local goods and to network and create invaluable connections and contacts.
As part of Proudly SA’s service to the country and the business community, there is no cost to attend the Summit & Expo. However, you must pre-register to attend either Day 1 or Day 2 or both, which include access to the Expo, or as an Expo visitor only.
