Invitation to the 2020/21 IDP, Budget and Tariffs, Community Based Planning (CBP) workshops

The City of Johannesburg hereby invites stakeholders to the consultation process in terms of the Local Government Municipal Sytems Act (32 of 2000) and Municipal Finance Management Act (56 of 2003), which mandates the City to develop a culture of participatory governance to encourage and create a condition for the community to participate in the Integrated Development Planning (IDP) and budget processes.

The objective of the sessions is to consult with stakeholders at a ward level to identify ward priorities for inclusion into the draft 2020/2021 IDP and budget report which will be tabled at Council in March 2020.
