On 30th April 2020, it was announced that the biannual Intra-African Trade Fair would be postponed from 1st – 7th September 2020 to 6th – 12th September 2021, because of COVID-19.
In May, the IATF announced their Virtual Trade Fair, which allows businesses to connect with local and international buyers and sellers.
They have been scheduling webinars and other online events throughout the year.
On Thursday 29th October they staged a virtual event on “Revival of the African Economy and AfCFTA”, called “Countdown to IATF 2021”.
Unfortunately, we were notified too late to promote the live event.
However, the webinars from this event as well as those from earlier in the year are (or will be) available in the Virtual Trade Fair.
