Legal Basics For Small Business
When we think of business growth we rarely think of the law as an essential element. However, getting the right documents and processes in place protects your business and guarantees cash flow.
This workshop is for you if:
- You have more than one business owner but no shareholders agreement;
- You trade under a brand name but haven’t registered your trademark or protected your intellectual property;
- You have workers but are unsure of what agreements to put in place with them or how to manage conflict;
- You experience cash flow problems and clients that don’t pay;

You will leave the workshop with a working knowledge of:
- Basic good governance and shareholder vs director roles and responsibilities;
- Basic knowledge of IP and how to protect yours;
- Basic information about labour law and tips and tricks to keep you out of the CCMA;
- Knowledge of the documents and processes to make sure clients pay on time.
