DESCRIPTION:25th Meeting of the Indian Ocean Rim Business Forum (IORBF)\n\n\n\n1000-1200 UAE time (GMT+4)\, 20 October 2020\n\n\n\nThe IORBF is the voice for business in the Indian Ocean Rim Association. It meets annually to discuss issues facing the private sector in the Indian Ocean region\, and makes recommendations to IORA governments. In the past\, this has included a joint declaration at the IORA Leaders’ Summit in 2017. The IORBF last met in June 2019. \n\n\n\nThe IORBF is aimed at business representatives from IORA Member States and Dialogue Partners\, including chambers of commerce and industry\, apex bodies\, trade and investment promotion agencies and businesses with an interest in promoting growth\, trade and investment in the region. \n\n\n\nThe next meeting of the IORBF will be chaired and hosted by the United Arab Emirates (UAE)\, current Chair of IORA. It will take place as part of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM)\, which will be held virtually over three days on 20-22 October 2020. All participation will be through a virtual conference centre with a dedicated section for the IORBF.
